I heard about this site on one of my Yahoo groups today. I've been playing around with it for a bit of time now & even though I've shared this story & photos before, I liked this set of pages so I did them again. I think it came out pretty cool & it took me all of about 15 minutes to put it all together. :-) I may just be hooked....... |
Make a Smilebox scrapbook |
Great job, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteKEWL! I saw your comment on DeEtta's blog that you think you should stick with your original plan to get the CM software. I sure wouldn't want to sway you away from that especially considering *I* am a CM consultant. But, if budgets are an issue, Smilebox is MUCH more reasonably priced, imo. You don't have to buy any papers, embellishments, etc.... It's only $40 a year and you get access to everything and they have new 12x12 (and other sizes) albums every week. It wouldn't take long to spend the same $40 on paper/embellishments with other digital programs and then you'd need to buy another one...
ReplyDeleteAnyway.. glad to see you tried it...
Great job. I love it. I have a friend who does these slide shows daily on her blog - I just didn't know you could do scrapbook pages too. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm still debating if I want a more flexible software or the ease and speed of smilebox....I think I'll use smilebox until I have time to get creative or I'll bog down again....but I've already noted that there are several layouts where I wanted more journaling space or an extra picture or two....and if I understand correctly with some of these softwares you'd be able to "create" but then we are back to the learning curve. LOL
I'm so indecisive. LOL
LALALALALALALALA, I'm not listening, I can't hear you!
ReplyDeleteLike I need another computer/photo thing to be addicted to, lol. I've successfully avoided the SHS thread, in fact, I didn't even realize it was about smilebox until I saw it here!
I'm with you, Kristine. I've been faithfully trying to avoid scrapbooking. But making slideshows does look pretty nifty....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the slideshow, Lisa. I even had a go at my own!
