My Daybook

FOR TODAY (May 4, 2009)...

Outside my window...the sun keeps going in & out behind the clouds. I took a chance & hung out laundry this morning. Almost time to go bring it in. No rain yet.

I am thinking...I have some really wonderful friends who continually bless me.

I am thankful for...my good health.

From the learning rooms...a nice day of learning. Small steps. Slow & steady. Heading for the goal.

From the kitchen...something for hubby's co-workers this week. They've been whining on Facebook. ;-)

I am wearing...comfy jeans, mom's old crocs, and my black Tour de Cure long-sleeved T-shirt - a fave.

I am creating...nothing even though I have some projects in mind.

I am going...to be very busy this spring. Out every night but Friday this week between baseball & other activities.

I am reading...Countdown by Iris Johanson - still working through my pile of her books from the library.

I am hoping...that J starts to feel better soon. Nasty spring cold has him in its grips.

I am hearing...a firehouse video playing, kids laughter, hum of the computer.

Around the house...so much spring cleaning needs to be done - sooner rather than later.

One of my favorite things...Diet Dew...but I'm starting to limit my intake - only 1-1/2 glasses so far today - a new record.

A few plans for the rest of the week: oh my - are you sure you want to read this? Tonight I have my weight loss class (going well I think), Hubby has softball, tomorrow N has his first baseball game & another follows on Wednesday. MOPS Wednesday morning. AWANA Thursday night. Busy, busy, busy!

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

We went to NH this weekend to celebrate my nephew's first birthday party - what a blast!

  2. I'm starting to come to grips with the fact that there really isn't a slow season anymore..... sounds like you're plenty busy in your house as well.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
