Oh, that would be crickets chirping! At least as much as it pertains to this blog and my postings and lack thereof. Let's see. I completely missed adding my take of seventh grade woe to the Mommy's Piggy Tales stories this week. I also never posted my Friday's Fave Five and it was a pretty good week. Oh & my Bible in 90 Days progress....not so good. I think I'm about a week behind at the moment. I know I'll get caught up, but it's not looking good right now.
This summer has literally flown by for me. I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed these days with, well, life. So, I've decided to take some time off from the blog. It's one less thing I have to worry about and it will give me some extra time to be with my kids.
Tomorrow we'll all be entering our first ever items in the local county fair. This is our first year in 4-H and the boys are entering 4-5 projects each. I'm attempting the photo contest - if I can get my photos ready by tomorrow! We'll see how that goes.
Wednesday we'll be making the dream of my two youngest come to life. We're riding on a real Amtrak train! We're heading south to Boston and we'll spend the day there sightseeing and enjoying everything! The worse part...the 4:30am wake up call. I may have mentioned a time or two that I am a night owl. That early morning time is going to be rough going but manageable to make my boys happy!
So hopefully life will settle down soon. I'll be back soon.
Life is busy.. better to have a full life and empty blog than the other way around.. right?!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the fair - I hope it goes very well for you and your kids. What fun! My nephew raises goats and he won 5 blue ribbons for his goats this year! He was VERY excited.
