I have a new niece. I'm completely and totally in love with her. She has a wonderful birth story that begins with a young girl who had to make the hardest decision of her life...to give her up at birth to my sister and BIL to raise.
Courageous.
Heartbreaking.
Hopeful.
Loving.
Unselfish.
There are so many words that describe this event.
And until the adoption process is finalized, I am only sharing small bits and pieces of her online. In real life, I get to snuggle every single inch of her and I love it.
Did I mention that between my sister and I this is the first (and only) girl in almost nine years? Needless to say, I'm having a blast buying clothes for her. It's still a novelty to be buying so much pink!
Please be in prayer for the young birth mother. Please also be in prayer for my sister and her family as they adjust to having a newborn once more in the household. The sweet girl's sleep schedule is all topsy-turvy right now.
