April Snowstorms

Within the first five days of April, we have had almost two feet of snow fall. While not totally unexpected for this time of year, it is being said that this is one of the highest snowfalls for this time of year. Lucky us - not! However, the beauty of the snow is nice, but plowing & clearing makes it very difficult. It's still in the 40's during the day so it's melting as fast as two feet of snow can melt, but the mud underneath is what makes it hard. I know that spring will truly come soon, but for now winter is still holding on tight to our corner of Maine.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
