My Daybook

For Today...September 22, 2008

Outside my Window...
the first day of fall in Maine has arrived. Cool crisp air and the sun is shining. It's a perfect fall day.

I am thinking...
of what I need to accomplish today and this week in general.

From the learning rooms...
we took today off as a sick day. My oldest has a nasty URI going on. They weren't too upset. ;-)

I am thankful for...
my hubby who works so hard each day to provide for us and allowing me the ability to stay home with our boys.

From the kitchen...
there should be the smell of baking bread, but I have yet to get it going. Soon though or we'll be in trouble tomorrow.

I am wearing...
my winter crocs with socks, jeans, and my favorite blue sweater. Fall is definitely here.

I am reading...
the last book in the Left Behind series, The Glorious Appearing.

I am hoping...
for more sleep tonight. I've been very tired lately. I need to get to bed earlier tonight.

I am creating...
hats for the babies on my Knifty Knitter.

I am hearing...
Miss H babbling as she crawls about the living room and the dryer finishing up the last load of clothes.

Around the house...
it is relatively quiet. N is playing in his room. B is convalescing on the couch (with a book & his Nintendo DS) & J is napping in my room.

One of my favorite things...
is the changing leaves that are starting to show.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
soccer for the two little boys tomorrow afternoon, MOPS group on Wednesday, AWANA on Thursday & hopefully the Maine State Museum on Friday. Saturday I'll be doing a fall festival and representing our MOPS group there to get the word out about us. A busy week.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Miss H is signing "more" as she eats her lunch of yummy noodles.

  1. Oh Lisa! I love this daybook that you are doing. What a precious gem to look back on in years to come. I like that it has the sentences for you to finish as prompters. Very neat!

  2. I enjoyed your daybook! This was a beautiful fall day! (I'm in Maine, too.) I loved the photo of your baby doing sign language. Tonight, I went to a practice to sign a song at church with some other women. Have a great week! I hope your son feels better soon.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
