Birthday Boy

N celebrated his eighth birthday this month. To say he was excited would have been a huge understatement.

 

Grammy came through with an awesome cake for him. I'm so blessed to have a MIL who loves doing theme cakes for the boys.

We have never done big kid birthday parties around here. Mostly that's due to how far out we are from most of our friends. Plus they are typically done at night. We did large parties for the boys first birthdays but other than that, it's just usually family.

We had aunts & uncles & family friends here for N's birthday. He still had a great time opening his gifts and eating some cake & ice-cream. 

Yup, he's now this many and quite proud of that as well.
