Review: AAS Reader: What Am I?

Earlier this year I posted a review on the All About Spelling Level 1 (AAS) program as well as their Beehive Reader 1 (which will is actually going to be renamed Cobweb the Cat soon). AAS has just come out with a new Level 2 reader called What Am I?

In fact, this reader is so new that you can't even buy it yet. Be watching though as it should be available near the end of the week (on or around April 15th) at All About Spelling's new website called All About Reading (AAR). The new AAR program will be a stand-alone program but also work well with their AAS program. Each level of AAR will have two readers and will focus on decoding skills, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and of course, lots of reading practice.

What Am I? is a Level 2 reader with ten wonderfully illustrated stories included. The stories correlate with the first fourteen steps in AAS's Level 2 program.

Whimsical illustrations and simple to read stories help to encourage your emerging reader.

What Am I? will retail for $19.95.

Be sure to read what other TOS Homeschool Crew members are saying about this newest reader.

  1. Woohoo! Thanks so much for posting this! We just finished AAS level one and I was sad to see that there was no reader to go along with level 2. Can't wait until it comes out!

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
