Five Question Friday

1. What's your favorite way to spend down time (alone or with a significant other)?
It all depends on how much I've seen my hubby lately. Now that he owns his own company, he tends to work more hours than he should. I do enjoy spending time with him, but as a classic introvert (who has made herself act like an extrovert at times) I crave alone time all to myself. It's one reason I have such lousy sleep habits. I stay up far too late in the night getting that alone time and then pay for it all the next day as I'm totally sleep deprived.

2. Are you the kind of person that wants things more as soon as you know you can't have it?
Absolutely! Who doesn't? I think it's hardest when you know you can't have it.

3. If you were given $1000 to spend on yourself, what would you buy?
Decisions, decisions, decisions! Well, considering I just signed up for a 70-mile fundraising bike ride in October, I'd have to say a new bike would be top of the list. And some better storage solutions for my house. And books - always books....

4. Do you ever go out to eat by yourself?
Rarely but I do on occasion. As I mentioned above, I'm an introvert. So while I crave being alone, I don't always like doing new things alone. Yeah, I know. Crazy. In college, even though I had a 5-day week meal plan - I would not eat in the cafeteria by myself. I would chow on junk food in my room instead. Can you say "freshman 25?" Yeah. Not pretty. About the second semester I finally decided it was stupid - I'm slow at times - and began going to the dining commons alone to eat meals. I typically brought a book with me. On occasion I do go in to a restaurant alone, but rarely. Although, now that I have my handy-dandy Kindle Fire, no problem. I always have a book or game or something else to keep my occupied while eating by myself.

5. What company would you want to do a blog review for?
There are simply too many to pick from! I already do blog reviews for the TOS Homeschool Crew which is mostly products for homeschoolers. Obviously that is a good fit. I also do reviews for Propeller which is a lot of Christian products - DVDs, books, CDs, and the like. I love doing those too. But if someone were to just approach me? I have absolutely no idea. But if it were a good fit for our family, I would probably do it.

  1. Oh, I like that! For me it would be
    1. Enjoying nature if the weather is good. I also like doing exciting things like riding motorcycles, or swinging high in the air harnessed to a rope! LOL

    2. Of course, but not as much now as before.

    3. Wow... umm... probably some basic photography equipment, like a directional flash for my camera, and maybe some lights or backdrops.

    4. Not if I can help it.

    5. Hmmm.... right now I'm all fired up about Beachbody products, so probably that.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
