{BookSneeze Review} Come to the Table by Neta Jackson

I am a huge fan of Neta Jackson's fiction. I have read through her Yada Yada Prayer Group series a number of times. While I knew she had continued on the series, I hadn't read any of them until now. I jumped at the chance to read Come to the Table. Since I already knew the characters I was able to jump into this extended series without a problem. However, she does such a good job of describing the characters and situations that one could potentially read them as stand alone books. I happen to like seeing how the characters continue to develop so I'll be searching out the first few books to get caught up on the character's lives. Yes, it feels like I know them - as it should with a good book!

Jackson has taken the beloved characters from the Yada Yada Series and placed them into the background of the current series. All new characters are here but they interact with the ones we first fell in love with. The author continues to use this series to make one think about our actions and how we can make those around us better.

This particular book focuses on Kat Davies who is on fire for God and wants to help those she sees around her by starting a food pantry. What a great way to help those in need and expand the ministries of SouledOut Community Church. However, not all see it as such a great idea and she'll be tested to be sure her motives are God honoring.

Come to the Table reminded me why I like not only Neta Jackson as an author, but also the Yada Yada Sisters as well. It's like I found a long lost friend when I started reading. I highly recommend this book and all the others as well.

I review for BookSneeze®

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
