Every summer, I spend four days at a Christian music festival. We arrive around 10am each day and don't leave again until about midnight. My phone barely has enough juice to last that long. On occasion I will pay one of the charities there some cash to recharge it - they have a recharging booth set up, but I'm a bit paranoid about leaving my smartphone out of sight like that. I can't wait to go this year and have my Magicstick with me.
The Magicstick is small. It fits in the palm of my hand. It's also powerful enough for what I need it for. It has enough power to recharge a device about twice. I actually found it could do my smartphone one full charge and half of another. My plan would be to recharge the Magicstick every night though so that would work fine for my needs.
One doesn't need to guess when a recharge of the Magicstick is needed either. There is an LED light button on the end of each one. If you click it and it's blue, it's fully charged; a green light means it's about half full, and a red one indicates it's almost out of power and should be recharged.
It certainly came in handy during the recent ice storm that came through our part of the country. We were very blessed to not loose our power for long. My sister and her family were out for four days including Christmas. All told we only lost ours for eight hours, three hours one day and five the next. However, it was nice to know though, that I had an easy way to recharge my phone. When we have no power, it's my only connection to the outside world to see what is going on.
You can see how easy it is to use in the video below...
If you are interested in purchasing your own Magicstick, you can head to their website. They retail for $49.99 but I have a 20% code off for my readers. Use Powerblog20.
I have to say that I really like this little gadget. I would highly recommend it for anyone on the go and quite frankly, who isn't these days?

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
