Putting Up the Tree

The same afternoon that we picked out our tree, we were able to get it set up & decorated. It was a lot of fun. The jobs break down this way....

Hubby & B are in charge of lights & garland.

J is in charge of looking cute.

Then each boy has their own ornaments that they hang on the tree. I stand guard over the breakable ones, but they are all allowed to hang up their own & then any of the unbreakable ones. My hubby's aunt buys everyone a new ornament every year. It's a fun tradition.

Hubby is now in charge of picture taking. He hangs some of his ornaments, but the rest are left to the boys & I. That is why there are actually TWO photos of me in this post!

This year we allowed J (who didn't get to put many ornaments up) to put the angel on top. He loved this job! My MIL made the angel. We have a set of six ornaments as well that match. They are all crocheted & then starched.
