My Simple Daybook

FOR TODAY August 25th...

Outside My Window...
the sun is valiantly trying to peak through the rainy clouds that seem to be prevalent this summer season.
I am thinking...
of my long "to do" list that I want to accomplish today & how to best get everything done.
I am thankful for...
my hubby who provides for us so well so that I can stay home to raise our kiddos

From the kitchen...
the leftover Lego birthday cake sitting on the stove.
I am wearing...
comfy clothes, but jeans today. It's starting to get cool outside.
I am reading...
The "Left Behind" series and I'm on book six, The Indwelling.
I am hoping...
that today continues to go well with the new little one here.
I am creating...
welcome packets for our MOPS group and "ticket bowls" for the table displays.

I am hearing...
just my dryer. Ahhh - such quietness abounds!
Around the house...
my two youngest boys are playing outside, my oldest son is playing in his room, my hubby is eating his lunch, & the baby is napping beside me in the pack-n-play.
One of my favorite things...
is to read e-mail & connect with friends far and wide.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
really a quiet week at home as we have two new little ones the rest of the week. It will be interesting to see how L & H interact with each other. I do need to continue working on getting school ready including the letters to be mailed to the state to make us "official" one more year.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Meet "H" - she's 13 months & today is her first day with us while her mommy is working.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
