Staying Sane...

One of the blogs I started reading this year is by Mary Ostyn. She's a mom of ten children - some of whom have joined their family via adoption. Both of those reasons caught my eye. While I'm not planning for ten children any time soon, I do pray we'll be able to grow our family at some point with adoption.

I started reading Mary's blog while she was on a trip for Compassion International to see their facilities in the Dominican Republic. That was very fun. I found quite a few blogs via that & Compassion is now planning for their next trip in April to India.

So what might all that have to do with staying sane?

Well, Mary has just written her first book called A Sane Woman's Guide to Raising a Large Family. A pretty appropriate title wouldn't you think from a mom with ten children? I feel that way many days with only three (well, sometimes five with circumstances the way they are lately) here.
