What a Glorious Day!

My friend Robin lent me the newest Casting Crowns CD to listen to over the last few days. I am so loving it! I had already heard the title cut on the radio and I've been listening to their Christmas CD via YouTube now since October. Needless to say, I really like Casting Crowns!

But I have to say....this one may be my favorite of them all....

Listen to the chorus closely.

God & I had a moment today in the truck while I was driving with this song blaring & singing along to a new song as well as I could. I'm considering singing this one in church in February when I'm slated to do special music again. What do you think?

Have a blessed weekend!

  1. I went IMMEDIATELY to iTunes and bought that album. My Christmas gift to myself....What wonderful sounds!

  2. Lisa, I can't see embedded video in blogs for some reason, and have only heard short clips of this album. Normally, I love CC but this album seemed to me to be more 'churchy' than previous ones, which have concentrated more on how to live the churchtian life. Would you say that's right?

  4. Dorothy...I think it's more "rocky" sounding (rock-based rather than R&B like the previous ones) which I actually like. I thought many of the songs similar in tone & theme as the last few albums. But I still haven't heard all of their last one? two? (The Alter & the Door & one more before this one?). I know that many at my church would be horrified if any of these newest songs were sung on a Sunday morning! I'd love it though. ;-)

I was telling Krista today that we need some NEW worship CD's....I MISS Christian music on the radio.

I suppose the chapel may like this better at Easter....hmmmm....

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
