Making a Plan

E-Book: The Schoolhouse Planner

Last month I mentioned how I'm making a plan for our school year and using the TOS Schoolhouse Planner ($39). The TOS Planner has over 600 planning pages to help me not only plan our school year but also to help organize household information. It's a downloadable file from the TOS Store and it's customizable! I love "click and type" PDF files. I can type in the information I want to use and then just save a copy and print it out.

I've been using the planner to do an inventory of all my homeschooling books (it's SUCH a time saver!). I'm also using it to plan out our days (still working on this - we're getting a very slow start this year).

There are forms for everything imaginable in this file!

TOS wants to make sure homeschooling families have the tools they need to teach effectively. Sometimes just organizing all of the bits and pieces of information is what bogs us down the most. The Planner is a great place to start with getting the year's plan made. After all.....

"He who fails to plan is planning to fail" ~Winston Churchill

Keeping all that in mind, I also want to teach my boys how to plan for success rather than failure. Enter the new TOS Student Planners!

E-Book: Middle School Student Schoolhouse Planner

Do you have a student in grades 7 & 8? Then the Middle School Planner ($19) would be a better fit. Similar forms are included but many that are specific to this age range are include. You can view a fifteen page sample of the planner here.

E-Book: Secondary Student Schoolhouse Planner

There is even a planner for children in grades 4-6. The Secondary Student planner ($9.95) is used for children in those grades. A fifteen page sample of this planner can be viewed here.

E-Book: Primary Student Schoolhouse Planner - Click Image to Close

Even the K-3 crowd is covered with the Primary Student planner ($9.95). Teaching children to plan for their time at this age is a great life skill to teach. A sixteen page sample can be viewed here.

The TOS Store offers a 40% discount when you purchase two planners together. Click here to see the options available and the price list.

Disclaimer: I was given a copy of the 2010 Schoolhouse Planner in order to write my original review of it. This go round I am blogging about the Planner and the new Student planners to be entered in to a giveaway sponsored by TOS for TOS Homeschool Crew members.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
