Family Friendly Movies

As any parent will know, it's very hard to find movies that are appropriate to watch with the entire family. Gone are the day of the "Family Hour" on TV at night. "Prime Time" viewing has been pushed to earlier and earlier time slots. In fact, that's one very reason we limit how much "regular" TV we watch here.

Recently Wal-Mart and P&G have worked together to create a new Family Moments initiative and part of that includes "Family Movie Night." These are family-friendly movies that are shown during prime time viewing and aimed at the whole family.

A Walk In My Shoes airs on NBC on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 8pm ET.

From what I've seen so far, it looks like a really good movie. One that will open some good conversation about how we should treat people. I try to stop and think many times before judging someone. Something I try very hard not to do and wonder what would it be like to be them....to walk in their shoes. This movie tackles that very question.

If you'd like more information about the movie (synopsis, cast, etc), be sure to head over to their webpage. Also, be sure to check out the Family Movie Night page on Facebook and "like" that in order to stay updated on future projects. Help spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, and blogs about this upcoming event. Take back Family Movie Night!

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
