2010 Gratitude Challenge - November 22 (contest winners announced!!!)

Today I am thankful for photography. I love how it allows me to be creative and capture life around me. I have been interested in photography since my mid-20s. Actually long before that but on my 28th birthday, my hubby bought me my first SLR camera. It opened up a whole new way of looking at things. Just this past summer he bought me my first DSLR and I'm having even more fun capturing life.

Recently I opened a store on Etsy called Berry Patch Creations. Earlier this month I hosted a giveaway of three of my prints. Today my boys helped me pick the winners.

I ♥ Faces Week 24: Let's Here it for the Boys

I'm entering again to the I ♥ Faces contest. This week's theme is "Let's Hear it for the Boys" & it's boy only faces. Well, I'm pretty sure I have plenty of "boy-only" photos kicking around my PC's hard drive.

I was going to enter their adult faces contest as well & even had the photo loaded up of my hubby. Then I remembered that my oldest son took it & that doesn't fit inside the guidelines so it's just a kids photo this week.

I Heart Faces: Happy Birthday!

::deep breath:: I've been following the I Heart Faces photo contests since they started, but didn't enter for a number of reasons. One main one is that I kept forgetting to! However, I actually have a fun & recent photo that fits this week's category "Happy Birthday!" Yeah!

This photo was taken at my nephew's birthday party at the beginning of May. He had just turned one & absolutely had a blast playing (and eating) his cake! It was so much fun to watch him.
