My Daybook

For Today...
October 27, 2008

Outside my Window...
the late autumn sun is shining after burning off a lot of fog & misty rain this morning. It's turned out to be a very nice fall day.

I am thinking...
I should be cleaning, picking up, DOING, instead of sitting here, but I'm going to take the time to relax & read my favorite blogs first.

From the learning rooms...
We had a full & productive day. Lots of hands-on learning today.

I am thankful for...
A patient hubby.

From the kitchen...
There needs to be some homemade bread coming from there later....

I am wearing...
those comfy jeans again (!!), a coral colored shirt, a lined denim shirt & my winter crocs with socks.

I am reading...
the same as last week....

I am hoping...
to get back on my diet plan and loose this weight.

I am creating...
nothing right now but I have some Christmas ideas percolating in the back of my mind.

I am hearing...
the hum of the computer fan and the wood stove fan. No children right now as they are either napping or in their rooms quietly playing.

Around the house...
working on winterizing everything.

One of my favorite things...
fresh baked bread. Yum!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
a typically busy week with two Bible studies (individual & group), AWANA Fall Fest, and MOPS.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
I took separate photos of the boys so I had to share three photos today. This was taken during our art time today. I found the tutorial over at Hearts & Trees. You really must check out this blog. It's fantastic. She has seven watercolor tutorials up at this point & I'm doing 1-2 a month with the boys. They love them.

Here they are doing the second tutorial. You can read more about it by clicking HERE.

Oh thank goodness! I'm not here all alone. Thanks for leaving me a comment. It helps that I'm not always talking to myself. Right? Hello?
